Our History: The Road to Performance Luxury Sport

A Vision for Something More

In late 2022, Bruce Daniels, a respected name in the automotive industry, recognized an opportunity to expand beyond the traditional franchise dealership model. While his existing dealership offered a wide variety of makes and models, he saw an unmet demand for high-end luxury and performance vehicles. To fill this gap, Bruce began discussions with Marc Snyder and his management team, and together, they developed the vision for an independent dealership that would specialize in premium, high-performance vehicles. From this idea, Performance Luxury Sport was born.

The Beginning: A Modest Start (January 2023)

By January 2023, Bruce launched Performance Luxury Sport, starting with a small but passionate team operating out of Honda Marysville. The dealership began with just two sales professionals and one service technician, focusing on a handpicked selection of luxury vehicles while delivering an elevated customer experience.

Growth and Expansion (June 2023)

With demand growing rapidly, Bruce made the decision to expand. In June 2023, Performance Luxury Sport moved into its first dedicated location—a 16,000-square-foot, warehouse-style dealership located just outside of Columbus, Ohio. This new space allowed for a larger inventory, a more refined showroom experience, and a stronger presence in the luxury automotive market.

Scaling Up: A New Standard (June 2024)

As customer demand continued to rise, Bruce led another major expansion in June 2024, doubling the facility's size to 32,000 square feet. This expansion enabled Performance Luxury Sport to house 60 highline vehicles indoors, ensuring an unmatched showroom experience.

The growth also included the development of a state-of-the-art service department, featuring six fully equipped service bays and advanced diagnostic and repair technology. With this upgrade, Performance Luxury Sport not only offered a premier selection of vehicles but also became a trusted service destination for luxury car owners.

Expanding to Cincinnati (2025 and Beyond)

With a successful foundation in Columbus, Bruce set his sights on new opportunities. In 2025, Performance Luxury Sport is expanding to the Cincinnati-Covington area, bringing its exceptional inventory and customer-first philosophy to an even larger audience. This expansion reflects Bruce's commitment to redefining the luxury car-buying experience.
