MBUX Interior Assistant
MBUX Interior Assistant takes your user experience to a new level with the ability to control some functions using gestures and arm movements. When you reach for the touch screen or the console touchpad the display can highlight the available features, such as adjusting the seat comfort settings. You can just point to the rearview mirror to turn on a map light or point forward with two fingers to easily call up your MBUX favorites menu. The system will even recognize the difference between the driver making gestures and the passenger doing it.

Augmented Video for Navigation
The MB navigation system uses live imagery from a mounted forward-facing camera to help you find your exact destination. You can see the live feed on the center display, and the MBUX system can superimpose helpful information such as street names, guiding arrows, and house numbers. All this takes place in real-time so even if you don’t know where you are going, your Mercedes GLA does, and it will help you get there.

Speed Limit Assist
Don’t worry if you can’t see a speed limit sign, the Speed Limit Assist system can help make sure you stay within the posted limit. It uses information from the navigation system’s database to display the speed limit in the instrument cluster right where the driver can see it. If you have the available head-up display it will display it right within your view. Speed Limit Assist makes it easy to make sure you know how fast you’re going and is especially helpful in reduced speed zones. Even if you don’t see the change, your Mercedes GLA will.
The 2021 GLA has some truly impressive advanced technology features that you could find in a compact SUV.
